A Note on IISAD 2026

It is with honesty and care that we share some news about International Imposter Syndrome Awareness Day 2026.

After thoughtful reflection, the Co-Founders of IISAD have made the decision to pause the event this year. The annual day, which would have taken place on 13 April 2026, will not be going ahead.

This has not been an easy decision. IISAD was built on a deep commitment to the community it serves, and that commitment has not changed. However, we believe that if we cannot give this initiative the time, energy, and focus it deserves, then the most responsible and honest thing to do is to step back rather than deliver something that does not meet the standard we have always held ourselves to.

IISAD has always championed authenticity — the courage to be honest about where you are, even when that feels uncomfortable. In pausing this year, we are practising exactly what we preach.

We are enormously grateful to everyone who has supported, spoken at, sponsored, and engaged with IISAD since its founding. Your enthusiasm and generosity have made this something truly special.
